1.      Sensorial Learning
As per Montessori Method, from the age of 2 to 4, the method of education will only be through five senses. The five senses are Eyes, Ears, Nose, Tongue and body. For an example, when sugar is introduced as sweet, it is offered to the student to taste it first. Thus the child learns the word Sugar, and its taste as Sweet in real. This is the unique advantage of sensorial learning.
Here we need to remember the fact that all the methods of Montessori Education support natural learning and the learning becomes effortless when a child learns from the environment.
2.      Montessori Tools
All the Montessori Tools are maintained in the Montessori Lab in such way that the children can reach out all the tolls easily. They are given freedom and liberty to choose the tool and learn naturally at their own pace. This is an advantage for the children to learn without any stress.

3.      Life Skills
Children are learning Life Skills in the Montessori Lab by being on their own and they are not encouraged to interrupt others. This is applicable to the Montessori Teachers too. Children learn naturally Discipline, Order, Neatness, and sense of ownership through the activities.

4.      Montessori Teachers are Care Takers
All the Montessori Teachers are advised to be with the kids when they play and simply guide them without giving any pressure. This further allows the children to work with their own pace with creativity.

5.      Unique Advantage of Montessori Education
When we simply write “Apple” on the Board and then if you allow a child to learn the name of fruit, the child will only remember the word “Apple”.
However if you show them a real apple and introduce it as “Apple”, then child will always remember all the identical facts of the fruit Apple. This method of learning is Concrete.

This concrete method is followed in Montessori Education and proved to be successful. Many Researchers and Tests were done and proved as the best method of education.

6.      Creativity
Each child is unique and the activities are designed in such a way that at the end of each activity the specific interest of the child is understood. Based on the interest and skills of each child, the child is further encouraged to proceed further and to grow.


7.      Real Life Application Tools
Most of the Montessori Tools are of practical application oriented and hence the child is able to relate the activities in real life. For example “Traffic Signal” is introduced with the actual replica of the same and hence the child is able to relate “Red” as “Stop”. This is also another unique advantage of Montessori Education.

8.      Vocabulary Building
In Montessori Education, all the new words are introduced with the real objects. Hence each time when the child sees the object it is immediately remembered of the word. Hence “Recalling and Remembering “words are made easy which further strengthens the memory of the learned vocabulary of many domains.

9.      Music and Arts
Along with Life Skills, in Montessori Education Basic Introduction of Mathematics, Numbers, Language, children are encouraged to lean Music and Arts. This further tunes the children to be multi-talented and learn the art of even becoming a musician too.

Thus Montessori Education is the best choice particularly for preschool. Through this Method, the child will be Independent, responsible, creative, disciplined, and knowledgeable and the child will be able to handle new tasks and challenges.
