TOEFL® Young Students Series

                                       
The TOEFL® Young Students Series helps you measure your students' English-language skills and guide them to the next steps of learning. It has two assessments: The TOEFL® Primary™ Tests  and  The TOEFL Junior® Tests.
The TOEFL Junior® tests, intended for students ages 11+.
It has two assessments such as TOEFL Junior® Standard test and TOEFL Junior® Speaking test
  • TOEFL Junior® Standard test —Reading Comprehension, Listening Comprehension, and Language Form and Meaning.
           Each section carries 200 to 300 marks, totally 600 to 900 marks.  
  • TOEFL Junior® Speaking test — a digitally delivered test that measures the student's ability to communicate orally in English in an academic classroom.
TOEFL Junior Score Availability:
TOEFL Junior test scores are available for reporting for 2 years after the test date.

TOEFL Primary tests are designed to:

  • Guide your teaching goals
  • Monitor student progress
  • Identify students' strengths and weaknesses
  • Determine instructional plans
  • Inform placement decisions, if appropriate
  • Focus your work with both individual students and groups
  • Shape your communication with parents about student learning.
What is the format of the tests?
  • Reading and Listening test — Step 1:
           For Reading it takes upto 30 mins, and Listening takes up to 30 mins.
  • Reading and Listening test — Step 2:
      For Reading it takes up to 30 mins, and Listening takes up to 30 mins.



TOEFL Primary Speaking Test
  • Number of Items: 4
  • Score Range: 0–16
  • Testing Time: 18 minutes
